Dental Office Closure Notice.

Dear Patients,
In response to the current COVID-19 public health crisis with the executive order by Governor Whitmer and out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to close our dental office beginning March 18 2020, until the tentative date of April 6th, 2020. The health and safety of our patients and staff are always our top priority. We believe that taking this step now is in the best interest of all. We ask that if you have a TRUE DENTAL EMERGENCY and are a patient of record, you may leave a message on our office answering machine at (248)661-8700. Messages will be checked.
Or you may text with your name, brief message and contact number to our after hours emergency number 586-246-4072.

We apologize for the inconvenience this poses to you and your family, and we appreciate your understanding.

Sincerely,

Depth of experience with cosmetic procedures distinguishes Michigan dentist, helps you avoid pitfalls

By
Woman with White Teeth Many dentists have the training necessary to provide cosmetic procedures. However, some distinguish themselves with their experience and knowledge of advanced cosmetic procedures that can have a transformative effect on your self-confidence and health.

Richard S. Bernstein D.D.S.: One of the American Academy of Dental Aesthetics-accredited Cosmetic Dentist in Michigan

Everyone from pageant contestants to high school football players trust their smiles to Dr. Bernstein. Dentists with less training and experience with materials and techniques can place crowns that feature unsightly, dark lines along your gums. Restorations may appear unnaturally bright. or stick out, resulting in a fake-looking smile, or look as if you’ve had “work done.”

Going to a dentist with less experience, materials, equipment, or costs less, can produce an undesirable outcome that affects every corner of your life, not just your appearance. Consider how oral health depends on overall health and vice versa, and how your mouth and facial contours depend on your teeth for proper support.

Veneers that don’t fit properly, for example, may look unnatural and affect how your upper and lower teeth come together. This poor bite makes it challenging to brush and floss adequately between and around teeth, giving rise to tooth decay and gum disease. Problems with bite also affect how you chew food and pronounce words, and make teeth prone to chipping and fractures.

Some procedures, such as veneers, are irreversible, making it more important to partner with a cosmetic dentist who has a history of doing excellent work. You’ll see some of those examples on this website, and you can read about other patients’ experiences at Richard S. Bernstein D.D.S.

Whether it is a smile makeover, or full mouth reconstruction, experience the satisfaction so many other patients in and around Farmington Hills have enjoyed. Call 248.636.2100 to schedule a consultation today.
